Again this year, jog-a-thon will be held during your student’s P.E. class. Check the class schedule so that you can come and cheer on your child’s class, or run with them!  Water will be given during the run, and oranges after the run. Kids are encouraged to, show school spirit by wearing an EMOJI type wear (ex. shirt or socks with emojis).

 ALL participants will receive a Jog-a-Thon Spirit Stick.  After that, incentives are given according to the total amount of pledge money the student turns in.

The class in each grade level that raises the most money will have a popcorn party and the class that has the highest average laps run per student will also have a popcorn party.

 You can turn pledge money in on the day of the jog-a-thon, or you can pledge online any time.

 We’ll need lots of volunteers to mark laps on the kids’ running bibs and especially CHEER them on. If you will be running with your child, consider helping to mark another grade’s bibs. 

The jog-a-thon is the PTA’s big fall fundraiser, and it needs to be a success in order to fund all sorts of programs and enhancements we have planned for our students this year. If each child brings in at least $15, we will break last year’s record fundraising total!
