2018 Sports Themed

Again this year, the Jog-A-Thon will be held during your student’s P.E. class. Check the class schedule so that you can come and cheer on your child’s class!  This year students will bring their OWN WATER BOTTLES and oranges be given after the run. Kids are encouraged to show school spirit by wearing a Sports Theme type wear (ex. Jerseys, sports team shirts, PE type closes).
ALL participants will receive a Jog-a-Thon Spirit Stick. After that, incentives are given according to the total amount of pledge money the student turns in. There will also be prizes for classes and the entire school when certain pledge raising goals are achieved.
The class that raises the most money will have a special surprise and the class that has the highest average laps run per student in each grade level will also have a special surprise.
You can turn pledge money in starting October 10th, or you can pledge online any time at The Get Movin Crew website. Parents must register their student on the site. To make pledges request the link from the parent of the student.

We’ll need lots of volunteers to mark laps on the kids’ running bibs and especially CHEER them on. If you will be running with your child, consider helping to mark another grade’s bibs.

The Jog-A-Thon is the PTA’s big fall fundraiser, and it needs to be a success in order to fund all sorts of programs and enhancements we have planned for our students this year.
